4 Day Bario/ Pa'ukat/ Pa'lungan Tour

Persons 1 2 US $ 417 366 For larger groups, please contact us for group discounts. DAY 1 This morning, fly from Miri to Bario Highlands. On arrival, we will proceed straight to Pa’Ukat longhouse by land transport. Settle in the longhouse while your guide is preparing lunch for you. In the afternoon, your guide will be taking you for a walk around the Bario Valley. We will have tea at the Ulung Palang longhouse and will continue to visit the original longhouse of Bario, barrio Asal. The tribe in this valley is Kelabit and their main business is in the famous and fragrant Bario rice planting and farming. We will walk back to Pa’Ukat, which is about one hour away, and will have dinner and overnight in the longhouse. (L,D) DAY 2 Breakfast in the longhouse and this morning we will trek to Pa’Lungan. Trek time will be around 3 hours involving some small hills. Arrive at Pa’Lungan midday, settle into the longhouse and have lunch. We will pay a visit to the headman and have tea in the longhouse. We will also visit Ritoh Monument on the ay back. Dinner will be with the local host family whom you are staying with for the night. (B,L,D) DAY 3 This morning, after breakfast, we will trek back to Pa’Ukat to collect your other belongings and walk back to Bario where we will stay at the lodge for one night. Dinner will be served at the lodge. (B,L,D) DAY 4 Breakfast in the lodge and we leave for the airport for your flight back to Miri
