ITINERARY
Depart Kuala Lumpur at 8.30 am reaching Port Klang, Malaysia busiest port in an hour. The 70 minute ferry ride offers a panoramic view of the busy harbour and the
mangroves swamps of nearby islands.
On arrival in Pulau Ketam, take a leisurely stroll to see how an entire fishing community lives in a village where even the roads are built on stilts. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, catch the ferry for the return trip to Port
Klang. Drive up to
view the fabulous palace of the Selangor Sultan.
Proceed to Kuala Selangor. Immerse yourself in the serenity and tranquility of the country side where miles upon miles of swaying coconut palms are punctuated by typical Malay Villages and cash crop plantations of coffee and cocoa. On arrival, visit Fort Altingsburg in Bukit
Melawati. The battle ground for many a confrontation between the Malays and the Dutch has today become home to the long-tailed macaques and the silver-leaf monkeys. We have a short stop at the rest house here before proceeding to
K.L. via a scenic road dotted by little villages, oil palms and rubber.
