State Mosque is located in the town area and known by the locals as Masjid Putih. Build in the era of Sultan Zainal Abidin II (1773-1808). Istana Maziah was built on 31st May 1895 and it is a symbol for Terengganu State Sultanate and located near the Terengganu river mouth, beside Bukit Puteri.

It is used for royal ceremony only.
