ITINERARY
Approx one hour
by car from Kuching city, nestled amongst the forest of Sarawak,
lies a Bidayuh longhouse. Often, greeting
visitors are hordes of children, who gather around as the visitors
walk through the longhouse, whose open verandah is made up of spilt
bamboo and rotan strung together.
These walkways are
stronger than their appearance suggests.
The longhouse
was built about 80 years ago and accommodates around 70 families.
With this
tour, you will also have the opportunity to visit a pepper farm.
