To
reach this destination we travel towards Bakong with a stop over for
lunch. Our journey continues through the countryside, dotted by oil palm
plantations, several longhouses and small villages to Sungoi Ulap. We
then take a boat ride, which takes around 90 minutes before we arrive in
Loagan Bunut territory around late afternoon.
Try your luck at fishing!
Dinner will be catch of the day.
Next morning, we have an early start and cruise around the lake for bird
watching. There is some interesting bird life in the early mornings! and you can witness them going
about
their morning rituals by the lake territory.
Return to the chalet for breakfast and prepare for the return journey to Miri.
NOTE
Loose
summer clothing, swimming wear, hat, sunblock, lotion, insect
repellent, flat walking shoes, 200 or 400 ASA films, and if staying
overnight, bring torchlight personal toiletries. If bird watching, don't
forget your binoculars.
