ITINERARY
DAY 1
Depart
Kota Kinabalu for Lahad Datu on an early morning flight. Upon
arrival, you will be met and transferred to Sahabat Beach Resort,
which is nestled along the eastern coast of Sabah.
Relax
& enjoy the sandy beach then embark on an "agri"
experience of Sabah's golden crop - the oil palm. Get an insight
into the whole palm oil industry, from the planting, processing and
also the downstream activities.
Visit the
palm oil mill, refinery and kernel crushing plant, and see how crude
oil is produced into cooking oil.
Evening at
leisure. (Lunch/ Dinner)
DAY 2
Continue
your learning experience and see how the fruit is harvested.
Find out
how barn owls are used for crop protection.
After
lunch, transfer to airport for flight back to Kota Kinabalu.
