DAY
1
KOTA KINABALU/KINABALU PARK
(Lunch/ Dinner)
Pick up from Kota Kinabalu city hotel in the morning
& depart for Kinabalu Park (about 2 hours' travel) driving pass remote villages with great scenery of the valleys.
Upon arrival at the Park, check into lodge in or around Park. One can opt to do the many trails or just relax & enjoy the cool weather at the Park. There are over 1000 species of flowers and plants found at Kinabalu Park. Pitcher plants and orchids are abound.
Lunch at restaurant. After lunch visit the mountain garden or do some nature walks. Dinner at restaurant & overnight
around Kinabalu Park.
DAY
2
KINABALU
PARK/LABAN RATA (Breakfast/ Box Lunch/Dinner)
Early rise to start preparation for mountain climb. Register at Park headquarter. Then together with Mt. Guide, transfer to Timpohon Gate, the starting point to Mt Kinabalu. Start trekking up the mountain. Trekking will take about 6-7 hours.
Upon reaching 11,000 ft, check into mountain
Resthouse. Overnight at Laban Rata.
DAY
3
LABAN RATA/KINABALU PARK/KOTA KINABALU (Breakfast/Lunch)
Early rise at about 0200hr in the morning & start trek up to the summit. Trekking will take about 3-4 hours. Witness the glorious sunrise over the majestic Mt Kinabalu if weather permits. Descend to Laban Rata & check out. Trek down to the Timpohon Gate.
Transfer back to Park headquarter to collect Certificate of Achievement.
Lunch at restaurant & depart back to Kota Kinabalu.

waterproof gloves, raincoat, water bottle, headache tablet and 'panadol' for altitude sickness
Why
not incorporate a visit to Poring Hot Springs while you are at
Kinabalu National Park. There you can take a dip in one of the open
air springs developed by the Japanese during the second world war.
Ease away those aches and pains.
