A
unique subterranean adventure of exploration and discovery through
the ancient geological formations of one of West Malaysia's most
spectacular limestone cave systems. You will venture along safe
walkways, inside the massive chambers of Gua Tempurung (Tempurung
Cave) where you will view stalagmites, stalactites and other rock
sculpture of vast proportions, vivid colors and breathtaking
beauty.
The
more adventurous 'caver' can join the 3 ½ hour, fully guided 'grand
tour' to the unlit remote reaches of the internal chambers. This
challenging journey, to the 'top of the world', is raw adventure at
its best. You will lower yourself through a narrow opening in the
limestone and slide down a smooth rock face to the waters of a
subterranean river. You will follow this watercourse, on hands and
knees, along narrow passageways until you finally reach daylight at
the other side of the cave.
We
suggest you bring a change of clothing if you intend to accept this
wet and exciting challenge, to conquer the 'top of the world'.
