A
whole day rafting on the Padas River, through the beautiful Padas
Gorge makes this a challenge for anyone looking for an adrenaline
rush.
ITINERARY
Morning
pick-up from Kota Kinabalu city hotel and travel to Beaufort Town
(travel will take about 1 1/2 hrs) to board the train to Pangi Dam -
the starting point. The excitement begins soon after a briefing on
safety and rafting techniques. You'll be equipped with safety
helmets and life vests for the adrenalin pumping ride through
Sabah's wildest rapids of the 'Padas', the Malaysian way of saying
"hot". Two hours
of exhilarating adventure shooting
through rapids (Headhunter, Padas Cyclone, Cobra Rock, Roller
Coaster, Jacuzzi pool).
Opportunities to see local villages and ride on Borneo's ancient
railway passing the Padas gorge down to Rayoh station - the ending
point
In moments of respite, body raft down the
river and soak in the tranquility of the virgin rainforest followed
by a sumptuous lunch before we return.
Lunch by the Padas riverside. Rest then board train and by road back to Kota Kinabalu.

tour provider reserves the right to change or cancel tour should
conditions beyond
their control render it necessary.
*River
rafting is subject to the water levels & weather conditions. If
Padas rafting is not possible, Kiulu rafting may be substituted.
However is rafting is not possible at all, an alternative tour may
be suggested.

TO
BRING
Bring
along swimsuit, shoes with rubber soles, extra dry clothes and no
valuables. Life jackets and helmets are provided. All participants
are required to sign liability release form and certificate is
issued at the end of the tour.
