ITINERARY
Pick up from Kota Kinabalu city hotel in the morning & depart for Kinabalu Park (about 2 hours' travel) driving pass remote villages with great scenery of the valleys.
At the Park HQ (1,540m/ 5000ft), visit the Education Centre and the
Botanical Garden to see orchids, rhododendrons, ferns, pitcher
plants, kerosene trees and others. Take a jungle walk near the Park
HQ and learn more about the Montane Forest. There are over 1000 species of flowering plants found at Kinabalu
Park. One can opt to do the many trails or just relax & enjoy the cool weather at the
Park. Mid afternoon, return to Kota Kinabalu, stopping briefly at
fruit stalls and a pottery, (lunch). . .
